Hi All,

I have news from the OpenSSL team. The FIPS 140-2 Validation has been completed for OpenSSL 3.0.

For more information, please read: https://www.openssl.org/blog/blog/2022/08/24/FIPS-validation-certificate-issued/

It may be time to upgrade your installation.

Just a reminder that this does not mean that applications are "certified" FIPS compliant, just that you can obtain certification if you so chose and are willing to put in the effort to make that happen. ITUGLIB does run the FIPS test suite and L-series, and everything is currently passing correctly as of 3.0.0 to 3.0.5.
